Hosting a party Control playback, manage guests, and transfer hosting between devices.
- You control playback. Play, pause and skip, and everyone follows you.
- Choose what guests can do. In Host controls, let guests pause or start the video, and turn guest playlist voting on or off.
- Public or private. Rooms are private unless you turn on Public room, which lists yours on the LiveCQ home page.
- Switching devices? Join the room on your phone, then press Make host next to its name. You can hand the room to any participant the same way.
- Had to leave? You have a minute to come back. After that, whoever has been in the room longest takes over as host.
Joining a party Join instantly, participate in the queue, and chat without creating an account.
- Open the invite link. It opens the room in your browser.
- Pick a display name. That's all; no account needed.
- Want something else on? Press Vote next to it in Up next.
- Someone being a pain? Mute them just for you, or Report them, from the people list.
